Abandoned

I don’t know what went wrong

But now you are long gone

I have no words to say to your face

All your actions were a disgrace

Like I have told you before

My heart is fragile though I opened the door

The door led me down a dark direction

A direction where I could hardly see me own reflection

And there you were standing before me

Your eyes gleaming harshly as I tried to speak softly

The words I have always wanted to say came pouring out of my mouth

These feelings I kept sheltered inside me needed to come out

I couldn’t hold back these emotions any longer

Soon my eyes would be a drought left without water

Yet you still don’t care no you never did

That’s why you left in the first place

You just couldn’t resist.
