About Me
Hello beautiful people, my name is Savanna Briscoe. I was born in the beautiful city of Charleston, SC where most of my relatives currently reside. I moved to the great big city of Atlanta, GA at the age of two and have lived there ever since. Having lived in Atlanta most of my life, I am a city girl who loves fashion, exploring the world by traveling, learning about different cultures, and indulging myself in a good novel. I am currently enrolled as a student at the University of Alabama where I am studying English with a double minor in Creative Writing and Women's Studies. My dream is to pursue my career in writing and expand my knowledge in hopes to one day write for Women's magazines while freelancing on the side.
I have always had a passion for literature and I thoroughly enjoy writing poetry and short stories. I am seeking an outlet in which will better me in the future and prepare me for what is yet to come in my career field. My stories and poems are based off of the experiences I have been through as a young woman, the obstacles I overcame, and how I still use my demons in a positive way. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to display my work and I genuinely hope all of my readers are satisfied after reading each piece. My goal is to touch the hearts of women who feel like they are all alone in this big world. Soon, you will find that there is someone you can relate to and whatever pain you are feeling, it will eventually come to a halt as it did for me.
